Prep Tests

The NDHCB now has 2 different versions of its online preparatory test.

The objective of the Prep Tests is to help candidates become familiar with the Navigation software and the format of the questions and provide an indication of preparedness for the actual National Dental Hygiene Certification Examination (NDHCE). Candidates will be able to compare their answers to the correct response for any question answered incorrectly. They will also get a score report at the end of the test.
Each test is designed to simulate the format of the actual NDHCE on a smaller scale as it contains 75 multiple-choice, single-answer questions.
The tests are offered through our Canadian-based Test publisher, the ProExams division of Yardstick Software™.

1. The most recent Prep Test, called the NDHCB 2010 Preparatory Test, is available at a cost $30.00 (+ tax)

2. Our original Prep Test called the NDHCB 2008 Preparatory Test is now available at a cost of $20.00 (+ tax).

Both tests must be paid by credit card.

Candidates will need to create their own profile (username and password).

If you need to leave the test at any time without finishing, simply "pause" it or "log out". Please note, once you click “Continue to my results summary” you will be unable to reenter the test.
To restart the test, open your internet explorer browser, navigate to NDHCB.YardstickMeasure.com, log back in and resume your test.
Please note that during the test, you can go back to any question UNTIL you click the "Continue to my results summary" button (after you click it, you can’t go back to the questions and answers).
